Why does everything in life have to be a competition? You want a job? Compete with 7 others for it and hope you qualify just higher than the others. You like some girl? Better pray she doesn’t like that other guy who likes her. Want to go to college? Compete with hundreds of other people and hope that ACT score will get you there. Every second of every day I feel like I have to prove my worth to someone and that’s not okay. I’m tired of fighting constant battles with everyone for no reason other than to see who is better. Life doesn’t have to be a competition, I don’t want mine to be like that anymore.
